If you have a sweet tooth, you’ve come to the right spot. Our sweets will take you for a ride and will top off the experience at our restaurant. We’ve decided to dedicate an entire blog to share with you our favorite desserts at Bricco Ristorante in the North End of Boston. We have desserts of all varieties, and hopefully, after a fantastic meal at our restaurant, you will try one of the desserts that we hold dear to our hearts.
Bricco’s Signature Bread Pudding
This blog wouldn’t be completed without our signature dish. Bricco trips are not complete without it. This dessert is made with our homemade vanilla bean bread pudding, caramelized bananas, and vanilla gelato. The main difference between vanilla gelato than ice cream is that gelato uses less cream and more milk and doesn’t include egg yolks. Our bread pudding is the perfect cap to a meal and goes great with a dessert coffee as well. This is the most ordered dessert at Bricco Ristorante.
Cuore Caldo al Chocolate
A delicious molten chocolate cake. What else needs to be said? It’s our house-made chocolate cake with a gooey chocolate center heated up to the perfect temperature to end the night. We feature Hazelnut gelato on the side of the cake, which provides a chill temperature to the dessert. When the temperatures of the dessert mix, it creates a unique journey for your taste buds. Curious what Cuore Caldo means in Italian? “Warm Heart.” This dessert prepared by our chefs at Bricco is perfect for splitting with a significant other, especially considering that Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. If you don’t have a romantic partner this valentine’s day, our cake will act as the perfect substitute. You’ll get em’ next year.
Tiramisu
Alas, a dessert that has stood the test of time in Italy. The most popular dessert in Bel Paese is an elegant, rich sponge cake that is soaked in our coffee liquor. We then add our homemade mascarpone cream (Italy’s Cream Cheese) to top it off. If you are looking for a real bite of Italy, then our Tiramisu is your best bet.
