February may be the shortest month of the year, but Bricco is definitely not short of great reviews left by its customers! Read some of the 5-star reviews by our customers below
“ShooOooooo-Weeee!!! This was GOOD! Bricco. I don’t know what to say. This restaurant exceeded my expectations. I had the wild boar dish, Pappardelle al Cinghiale (very reminiscent of beef bourguingnon with the wine sauce) and my boyfriend got the veal and beef agnolotti (kind of like a ravioli if you’re like me and had no idea what agnollotti was) Agnollotti al Plin. Both dishes were to die for.
I don’t know if its possible to go wrong with any single dish at this place, but I will definitely be going back to find out. Two small things: the staff did not speak English very well (authentic Italian, amirite!!) which made it a bit difficult if you had questions about the menu, and some of the tables are very close together (all too frequent in Boston, especially the north end). However, these two things did not detract from the experience nearly enough to deduct a start because DAMN was that food good.”

“My wife and I, in town from Chicago, ate here Saturday night 2/2. Restaurant is terrific : food was excellent, great atmosphere, great wine and most notably – the service! Anna waited on us and I can honestly say, she is the best!!! Her attitude, hustle and charm are phenomenal. One of the best servers I’ve ever had. Thanks Anna for making it such a memorable dinner for my wife and I. We’ll be back … thanks again Anna !!”

“I was greeted by my bartender Bonnie immediately upon my arrival. She was very personable and dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience. We were seated upstairs and had the good fortune of having Emilio as our server. He was very engaging and provided excellent recommendations for both wine and our meals, which unfortunately were necessary as they were out of the first wine we had selected and the halibut special I had ordered. The burrata appetizer special was wonderful and the mushroom risotto was absolutely fantastic. The Niman Ranch pork tenderloin was cooked perfectly and incredibly moist. Emilio was terrific checking on us throughout dinner and Bonnie checked on us as we were preparing to leave the restaurant. Bricco and its staff made for a memorable evening and dinner experience.”

“Excellent meal! We ordered the Eggplant Bake as an appetizer, which was delicious! I had the Amatriciana Garganelli for my main course. The pancetta in the dish had a wonderful smoky flavor. My husband had the ‘Big Night’ Timpano. The dish was very flavorful! The only down side was that we were right by the bar and it was extremely loud. We had difficulty hearing our server or each other. We will definitely return; it’s right in the heart of the North End and only a couple of doors down from Modern Bakery!”
